So, here we are, “St. Patrick’s Day” of 2010 and what’s next for you? I’m amazed at how many of us are sitting in our lives, day to day, doing the same things yet wanting different results.
What is it that you dream of? Better job? Better health? Better relationships? I know these are all possible because there are people out there doing them! Does this mean that “fate” has chosen you not take part in your dreams? Of course not! YOU have chosen not to take part. YOU are sitting there, doing the same thing, day in and day out. It can only take YOU to change what happens from here to your goals.
I challenge you. Go ahead, name your dream. Okay, pick more than one, I won’t stop you. Now pick a time frame of when you’d like to see your dream unfold. Be fair yet don’t shortchange yourself by waiting too long. Write it down on a piece of paper and post it somewhere you will see each and every day. Say it out loud to yourself. Picture yourself “living” this dream. Really imagine it vividly.
It IS possible.
Now, do one thing each day that can help you reach that goal. For example, do you want to be at your ideal weight? Then, today, not tomorrow, start by changing one small thing. Maybe you drink your water today. Maybe you eat a healthy breakfast tomorrow. These are not meant to be life-changing behaviours yet. Start small. Keep going…
