I wanted to take the time to share a success story from one of my current challengers. It’s wonderful to see how anyone can come together and embrace the healthy changes and workouts each week. Dawn and I knew each other in junior high school and have reconnected via Facebook recently. She was quickly drawn into my groups and I love her constant energy. How do the groups work? We stay accountable to each other every day with our current workout program; meal plans (complete with pictures and even recipes); and daily Shakeology. This recent group has been more in depth with the addition of a fun “points system” to keep things interesting throughout the holiday season. I’m amazed by the friendships and caring that are being shared amongst these new connections.
Here is Dawn’s story, in her own words:
“After being inconsistent with getting healthier and dropping some weight, I was invited to join the Brazil Butt Lift challenge. It was the first time in a long time I finally stuck to it. I enjoyed it and my husband was very supportive.
I was doing good with drinking shakeology and sticking to the workouts but I was having a problem with the food. My meals were good, not the best, but my biggest problem was my sweet tooth, that I still battle with from time to time, but the creative ways to have my shakes have been better for that pesky sweet tooth.
I enjoy the challenge groups because it keeps me motivated to know that I have people with like goals to count on, and it keeps me accountable which I dont have in everyday life. I have learned that I am really capable of more than I gave myself credit for although I still have a sweetness for sweets I really have the upper hand on them now. I have discovered better foods and tasty ways to enjoy them. My body runs alot better with shakeology. It really is so much more then a nutrition shake and worth every penny.
I also have noticed that since I began my fitness journey, my desire to drink when I’m out on the town and pretty much faded away and my mindset is very health focused, and I could not be happier.”
